SVN

I've been using Subversion from my account for a while now, via the svn+ssh protocol. Awkward, but it works for an individual developer. Now I'm moving to the point where I'd might like to allow others to download from my archives, but this isn't possible if I'm using ssh. (Or rather, it is possible but not advisable ...) Also some tools I'm using now don't like svn+ssh.

So, can we run svnserve from our accounts? It would necessitate knowing what ports to talk to. Or is there some scheme to investigate?
