Our nameservers are 206.251.37.215, 206.251.38.33, and 206.251.38.44. These relate to ns1.grokthis.net, ns2.grokthis.net, and ns3.grokthis.net.

The /etc/resolv.conf file on a machine instance should be:

 nameserver 206.251.37.215
 nameserver 206.251.38.33
 nameserver 206.251.38.44

[Traditional Shared]?, [Advanced Shared]?, and select other accounts may be eligible for DNS hosting. Please see [Hosted DNS]?.

Third-Party Nameservers

Customers may optionally choose to add 3rd-party nameservers such as those provided by OpenDNS?. These may be used in lieu of, or in addition to, the GrokThis nameservers. The /etc/resolv.conf entries for OpenDNS? are as follows:

Depreciated Servers

The following nameservers are DEPRECIATED as of March 2009 and are no longer functional. Please remove these ASAP in order to prevent DNS poisoning attacks, slow DNS queries, and other potential consequences:
