GrokThis.net is based out of Philadelphia, PA and has been in business since 2002. Our mission is to provide unique features not found with other hosts. Our blend of cutting edge technology, managed services, and inexpensive prices separate us from the competition.

We began offering VPS hosting in 2006, with low-cost options through VPS Village starting late 2006. These services are still separately branded, although we've since made those same low-cost options available to GrokThis.net customers. This wiki serves customers of both services.

We are a pioneer in what some call [Cloud Computing]? and have created the Perl-based Cloud::Infrastructure project under a variety of open source licenses. Cloud::Infrastructure serves to provide two major solutions: to provide a standard cloud client library in Perl, and to provide a flexible framework for creating new cloud services.
